This product was a replacement for a fan that was 5 years old. It was used as an outdoor fan and only actually used a few times over those 5 years. (perhaps 25 total times and possibly 1500 hours total). in order to improve longevity, the fan blades were removed over the winter. They were hard to remove and reinstall without taking the entire unit down. this year the metal on the mounting fixture failed,

Pros: Easy to install. Using it indoors in a coastal (humid, salty) property, so the outdoor rating was essential. Con: The white is a creamy color (off white) rather than a true white. Online height measurements are inaccurate. Flush mounted without down rod is actually 10” installed, not 15” as stated on the website. High setting vibrates & is noisy.

I am a state licensed electrician. A customer bought 2 of these fans to install outside. One of the fans didn’t work at all, right out of the box. There were numerous issues with the fan as I assembled it and I completly appearred to be the cheapest fan I had ever seen. I had to dis-assemble the installed fan and return it. The customer is paying me by the hour so this install got expensive for one reason, cheap product.Harbor Breeze should be ashamed of themselves.

Very disappointed in this fan. We replaced an 8 year old fan on our covered outdoor deck with this Harbor Breeze fan. The fan sits up high in the apex of the roof, out of the way of most wind and virtually all other weather. We don’t use the fan much, save for really warm days. After install, turned it on, couldn’t feel a bit of breeze from the fan, just the wind from outdoors. Reversed the direction as thought I had it going wrong way, even less airflow. First blade blew off after about 2 months. Second blew off after 4 months. Third blade blew off on the 1 year anniversary of purchase. Just threw it in the garbage. Don’t waste your money or time on this piece of junk.

Love the looks of the fan. However, being it is listed as an outdoor fan, I do not recommend this fan to be mounted under the roof of your dock. It cannot stand the lake front winds during rain storms etc. It may be a perfect outdoor fan under the roof of your patio-being somewhat protected by the walls of your home, but not for a dock in the lake. My blades loosened and fell off/broke 3 different times. I finally removed the fans. The company was VERY good on sending me replacement parts, but after the 3rd time the blades fell off, I got tired of repairing them. I even applied loc-tite to the screws. No help. Like I said-they might work very well in a patio protected by winds.

Would give all Harbor Breeze products a zero star rating if I could. Had two Harbor Breeze fans purchased by my builder when building a new house. Both had lifetime warranties on the motor. will not support their lifetime warranty because I don’t have the receipt even though I can provide the contract for the construction. Their warranty is worthless. Buy something else.

Great fan ,moves alot of air on our enclosed porch

This is a great ceiling fan. The hot line really does not know their products. Of course the light kit is separate. The fan does not tell you that the wires to wire the light kit to it is in the cardboard under the main wires that says do not remove!!! I was all but taking it back after the lack of knowledge on the 800 number when I pulled the cardboard out from under the other wiring and low and behold here are the 2 wires i have been searching for, called etc for about 2 hours!!!
It is quite and pushes lots of air. I Love the fan.

My 35 year-old 42″ Hunter fan moved more air than this brand-new fan. This fan places air in a cone shape and does not circulate outside of this narrow area like my previous fan did. What were the engineers/designers thinking?

Small weak looks cheap like plastic…certainly not wicker like blades👎🏼

Love the 5 blades, very attractive fan, perfect for our patio and can really feel the breeze it sends.

Very easy installation. Had hoped for more air flow

Wish I read the reviews before purchasing, but usually don’t have issues with this brand. Does not blow any air down at all. I was all excited to finally have porch fans and now they serve no purpose. My husband threw out the boxes/receipts so now we are stuck with them as place holders for now.

Perfect OUTDOOR porch fan.

We installed this fan on our front porch to enjoy on warm summer days and to keep insects away.
We turned it on and did not feel any air movement, so we turned the fan off and flipped the switch to see if that would make a difference, but it DID NOT!!!….Don’t buy!!

Returned since installers never showed up as paid for and promised.

I’m a licensed electrician, a customer bought 2 of there. One didn’t work at all after installation. It had to be disassembled and returned. Costing the home owner money and time. The replacement had issues, you would definitely have to be a trained pro to make this horrible fan work. Harbor Breeze should be ashamed of themselves.

Just got my fan installed today in my gazebo. It looks really cute and is very quiet. I bought the universal remote which is very convenient and well worth having.

Installed a few days ago and does not move the air at all. I called the company for tech assistance, and they are going to send the reverse to “solve” the problem, even though the switch is working fine.

Very Easy Install, Fan looks great, Blades are plastic. I had to really look at the angle because when I turned it on, it was moving fast but I felt almost no air movement, figured I had it on reverse, but no It was on forward. Too bad I threw the boxes out. The 20 inch Valdosta I have works much better.

Spent a lot of time putting it together and getting it hooked up just to have no air movement. Pretty sorry to make a fan that does not move air.

Very nice looking and fits well with our decor

Great looking fan easy to install and works great.

I would only recommend this to a person who would hire installation. To install the fan blades it takes 2 people with little hands. We installed 4 & started attaching the fan blades first. Also, magnetic screws would help
I would like to rewrite your installation direction

After the negative reviews I read, I wanted to share some pictures and our experience. We have 2 fans on our screened porch. Last summer, a blade broke on one of the fans. It was an older model, so we couldn’t get a replacement. I opted for fans without a light kit because we rarely, if ever, used overhead lighting out there. The blades are a heavy plastic which I think is preferable for outdoor use. The color is more of a grayish black than a brown. That worked for us. The air flow seems great. They blades are solid black on the side facing the ceiling. Again, that didn’t bother us because you can’t see that side. Overall, for this great price, we are very pleased. My husband said installation was not difficult.

I recently purchased the Tilghman II 52-in Bronze Indoor/Outdoor ceiling fan, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in more ways than one. Not only was the installation process a breeze, but its performance and durability have truly impressed me.
First and foremost, let’s talk about the installation. I consider myself to be a fairly handy person, but I was pleasantly surprised by how straightforward and user-friendly the installation of this fan was. The instructions were clear and concise, and within no time, I had it up and running. It’s always a relief when a product lives up to its promise of easy installation, and this fan delivered flawlessly.
Now, onto the performance. This fan is designed to keep you cool and comfortable, and it does exactly that. Whether I’m using it indoors or outdoors, it generates a gentle and refreshing breeze that makes hot summer days much more bearable. I particularly appreciate its versatility, as it can be used in various settings, including on a patio. Speaking of which, the fact that the blades are made of plastic may raise some eyebrows, but I must say they still manage to look decent and fit in well with my patio decor. They are lightweight, durable, and resistant to weather conditions, which is a huge plus for an outdoor fan.
Another notable aspect of this fan is its quiet operation. It’s practically silent, allowing me to enjoy its cooling effects without any distracting noise. This is especially important when using it indoors, as it doesn’t disturb conversations or peaceful moments of relaxation.
In terms of design, the Tilghman II 52-in Bronze Indoor/Outdoor ceiling fan exudes a timeless charm. The bronze finish adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any space, making it a stylish addition to my patio. Its 52-inch size strikes the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics, ensuring ample air circulation without overpowering the room’s visual appeal.
Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase of the Tilghman II 52-in Bronze Indoor/Outdoor ceiling fan. It ticks all the boxes for me: easy installation, efficient performance, versatile usage, and a visually appealing design. While the plastic blades may not be premium in quality, they still manage to look decent and get the job done. If you’re looking for an affordable and reliable ceiling fan that brings comfort and style to your indoor or outdoor spaces, this fan is an excellent choice.
I can confidently recommend the Tilghman II 52-in Bronze Indoor/Outdoor ceiling fan to anyone seeking a reliable cooling solution without breaking the bank. It has become an indispensable addition to my home, providing me with the perfect escape from sweltering summer days.

Bought to replace fan damaged in Hurricane. We had 2 on the lanai and this was supposed to match the second fan. Harbor Breeze has cheapened this fan by making the motor housing half the size of the previous version and the screws are little itty bitty things. They will undoubtedly need constant tightening. It was a real pain putting up since the 5 fan blades now need to fit in half the space as original fan.
