I purchased 2 of these lights recently for our master bath vanity which has soft warm recess lights. My contractor installed these while I was at work and I realized later that it is not 3000k color temp. like the product description mentions. It is actually 3985k color temp which is pretty white. Now its a complete mismatch of lights in my bathroom. I tried chatting with a associate and they asked me to call customer care to get this issue resolved. When I called customer care, they are asking me to uninstall and return it or goto my local store to get this resolved(since i did a store pick-up for this). Not sure how the store will fix this since the website description is wrong and isn’t ready to fix the situation for me. I paid hundreds of dollars to my contractor to get this installed and he will charge me again if I uninstall this and install another pair of lights.

This light, with its bright chrome, makes for a very modern look. I didn’t realize how much difference an LED light versus an incandescent could make. The bubble look on the glass cylinders is a nice touch. This is not your average sheet metal stamped fixture. It is heavy enough that you will need two people to install it. One to hold it while you attach the wires. Unless you like holding 4 or 5 pounds in one hand while you attach the wires with the other you will need that extra person. Since it can be mounted in two different positions I decided to mount it with the light going up. The nice thing about this light is if I get tired of the way it looks I can just turn it upside down and it will be like a whole new light. Very versatile. I was surprised at how much difference this light made to the look of the bathroom. Installation is easy (if you have an extra pair of hands). Remove the old fixture and fixture mounting bracket, if you are replacing an existing light. Install the new mounting bracket with the included screws. Connect the black wire, the white wire, and the ground wire to the house wiring. Place fixture over the mounting plate, put in the two phillips screws to hold the fixture to the mounting bracket and you are done. Being able to mount this light in two different directions is a plus.

One of the bulbs is out and I have learned they can’t be replaced. I will talk to tomorrow but it seems from other reviews unless I still have the receipt I am out of luck. We purchased the light about 8 months ago.

Very pretty, looks even better in person. Be prepared that it is extremely heavy. The three bulbs are heavy solid glass.

Unit was installed during construction of the house by contractor (3 years ago). One of the lights stopped working today. This model does not allow you to replace a single light — you must replace the entire unit (LED vanity bar). Called customer service (866)439-9800. Was told that the warranty stays with the builder, not the customer. So, there was no resolution because we did not have receipts. Told the CSR that we will not purchase any item from this company in the future. We will have to replace the vanity bar but it will not be with an Allen & Roth product. The warranty means nothing to a home owner when the item was installed by the builder. What a rip off!!!!

Looking for a replacement light bar for the downstairs 1/2 bath and this appeared to fit the bill. My wife likes the look of it and it’s very contemporary and clean looking. Many reviews say non-replaceable LED bulbs burn out or fade prematurely. That’s the one major caveat to this light bar. It would be nice if the LED was replaceable for something at this price. Hope this light lasts. Having non-replaceable/repairable bulbs isn’t the best choice in a light. We shall see if the light holds up. There is a 5 year warranty, but one buy’s light fixtures with an expectation to last more than 5 years. It’s plenty bright for a half bath, not sure if it’s enough for a full. Probably need two of these in that case. It would have been nice if the glass shades were removable as the glass (3 of them at that) is what makes the light bar so heavy. The installation, therefore, is a two-person job. One to hold up the light bar and another to screw the wires in. It’s too heavy for one person to do on their own and rigging up a temporary hanging system would be a bit scary if the system fails during install.

Having read some reviews about the lights, we were hesitant to purchase; but, we bought it anyway and have no issues. The lights are bright enough for our 32″ wide vanity area. Installation was not difficult (for my husband), and he said that the lights have a long life; but, are removable and may be able to find lighting replacements should we need to. They look very stylish and we have already received some comments on how nice they look

Four years and one bulb down. No replacement light so… $100+ to get all the lights back on. Chrome started to rusting around set screws but the kids do take hot showers!

I purchased the about three years ago and one bulb has stopped working. I can’t find the receipt from so how can I return it? No good like it is.

This light is perfect for our 35 square foot bathroom. It has enough light but not so much that it would be glaring. If you are looking for an extremely bright vanity light, then you may be disappointed. However, if you want a soft light that is clean and bright and very stylish, then this is a great choice. Both my husband and I agreed on this when we saw it in chrome. When we found out we could order it in brushed nickel to match our other fixtures, we were sold. Delivery to the store was fast. I did not install it, but our electrician said it was easy to install. We chose to install it facing down, but you could also face the lights up. Your choice.

If you are looking for a modern type bathroom light or something that looks like it would go with an Art Deco look from the 20’s or 30’s, this light would fit the bill perfectly. I used it in a bathroom, which is where I think most people would use it, but I guess you could use it anywhere you needed direct wall-mounted overhead lighting. It is LED, so there’s no light bulbs to replace, and it has a cool bubble-type bulb/glass housing that looks kind of like a glass of champagne (see picture). The box says that the lights have 50,000 hours of life, and the brightness total is about that of maybe a 100w incandescent light bulb. It doesn’t appear you could replace the lights if they did go dead, so I can’t speak to longevity, but most of the LED lights are getting pretty good these days.
One precaution: this light is heavy! You really need 2 people to install it safely, and your light box better be securely mounted to a stud. I wouldn’t try attaching this light to a light box that was old work, just mounted in drywall, because I don’t think it would be safe; the bubble lights make it front heavy, so the mounting base needs to be secure.
Other than that, great light!

Ok this is a long one so here we go. Love the look of the product. We are upgrading master bath and have already poured a lot into the project. So we were looking for something to go with the new shower walls. So we found a similar project and bought that. Product was from a different OEM and real high quality. Price was about 30 more and was 4 lights. Lights were going above double vanity so needed 2 of them. After getting out of package they were great quality and heavy. But unfortunately about 4 inches too long. Spacing did not look right with 2 lights So had to return them. Also they cold change color temp. Which I found out is super important with LED’s.
My next mission was to find a similar product that was a couple inches shorter. Looked everywhere found a lot I liked and meet my criteria for length and color changing switch but for brushed nickel. Finally found these at Lowe’s in chrome.
So if you are doing this yourself in a newer home you didn’t build you are going to run into shoddy workmanship you will need to fix before hanging any new light fixture. Builders use cheap fixtures to increase their profits and also to cover their crappy work. Keep this in mind because 2 x 4 will be in your way when moving. There will be no blocking to mount to if you need it and you will have to fix a lot of holes electrical left for you since they
Just pound holes though drive wall to run wires and the cover it up with these cheap flight fixtures. This comes into play latter during my install.
Anyway back to review. 1st fixture went up no problems, until screwing glass diffuser on. 1 was cracked on the side. And one wanted to keep cross threading into socket. Socket was poor manufacturing and cracked glass diffuser or quality control. And no damage was on box or styrofoam packaging. Left factory this way. So no problem I took a good one out of other box. Guess what, same thing . Out of 3 diffusers in that box 1 was cracked.
Off to Lowe’s to exchange. 30 miles one way. Lowe’s was very helpful and we got down the bad they had in stock to exchange out diffusers. Same exact model, same exact stock number.
Can’t exchange because they are built entirely
Different. This one the diffusers do not screw onto fixture. Read other reviews where they are talking about how heavy fixture is. So at some point model changed and they thought it was a good idea to keep same model number. Just saying STUPID. By the way one of those diffusers also cracked. Starting to see a pattern here
Off to a different Lowe’s , one of perks of living in a city I guess. New location. Finally found like, like product. That one had a cracked diffuser also. But after running around all day finally got an undamaged product.
So I would give this rating of 0.5 not worth all the trouble for an inferior product and also from other reviews the leds do not put out much light. So I would classify them as accent lighting an not vanity lighting.
I will update with pics when project completed. Maybe my opinion will change but not looking promising based on other reviews

This Allen Roth Light is of good quality. Overall, if it was what i was looking for, I’d love it, but ultimately I dont.
This light is relatively heavy compared to others. But probably because its made of good quality. The chrome is excellent and not cheap. The glass bulbs add to the weight of the lamp and if you’re installing it, get help because its a little difficult to do alone.
The pros: beautiful light and the bubbles add a nice character to the lamp. Good size for a small bathroom or room. No light bulbs to ever have to change and its LED.
The Cons: its LED – which by all means is nice but nowhere near bright enough. It says its 1100 Lumens but i just dont see it. I left the light on for a few minutes since LED lights get brighter but this one didn’t all that much. It was not what I was expecting the brightness to be. And thats too bad because we really liked the look of the lamp.
Overall, if you can spread the light around with other lights, it should be a nice light. If not, pass on this one or find one that is the same but brighter.

I just had 1 of the 3 stop working. Looks like it is an issue from the reviews. I got mine through the Loop program on January 10, 2022, under Johnny. Is this still replaceable for me?

We purchased our home in 2023 and this vanity bar was installed in the MB bath. Last week, with the house only being 3 years old, one of the LED lights in the vanity bar went out. We went to to purchase a replacement light and LED buld. Was told by the sales person that the burned out light was not available and that sine the unit was still under the 5 year warranty that I needed to call Customer Service. I did that. I was told the CS rep that since I was not the original purchaser (builder) and did not have a receipt that the warranty did not transfer to us and that we would have to purchase a new unit. I questioned how it was possible that buyers of a house with appliances and fixtures installed by the builder were not covered by the warranty. Was told repeatedly that the warranty resides with the builder, not the house buyer, since I did not have a receipt. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. After reading some other reviews about the same issue — i.e., the premature failure of the LED bulbs, I will not being purchasing a replacement Allen and Roth vanity bar. In fact, I doubt very seriously that the replacement will be purchased from because of their warranty policy. Totally frustrated by their lack of customer service.
Note: I submitted a review a week ago and confirmed that I sent it via e-mail For some odd reason, did not publish the review. Interesting.
