This is a very well made light and very simple to install, looks great in the smaller room with the paneling and light is dimmable with the proper bulbs and switch.

Love this light. Lights up the room nicely and it’s not too big and not too small.

This light was better looking in person than pictures online. I really like the industrial style of it. The quality seems good, especially at this price point. This would look good in almost any room in the house. I chose to put this in my small living room. I used 3 LED light bulbs and the light illuminated the space nicely. Installation was very easy. I was replacing an older light fixture so already had the wiring, so it took less than a half an hour to complete. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I’ll start off by saying I love the look of this light, but it was a real pain to install. This was one of those days that everything seemed to be a little too short or a little too small. I installed this on a location with a box in the ceiling, more and more these lights seem to come with attaching them directly to drywall on the ceiling and maybe that was the root of the problems I had. Initially, the included screws weren’t larger enough to secure the mount piece to the electrical box. Additionally,
the box is slightly recessed and that made the included studs to hold the actual fixture too short until I shimmed the mounting flange to bring it lower than the level of the ceiling a little. The included wire nuts were sufficient for attaching the light to dedicated wiring but if you have a 3way switch or a continuation to another light you’ll probably need to get larger wire nuts to accommodate the extra wires. I had to use a larger wire nut, but that made the clearance of the fixture itself insufficient and I had to make sure that that wire was pushed into the box through the hole in the mount. Had I chosen a direct to drywall install it did have some hardware to attach it, but honestly it looked like the bare minimum and I would have used my own larger screws and drywall anchors. The last issue I had was getting my rather large hands through the metal frame to attach the nuts that secure it to the mount bolts. Removing the cage was not an option because it was held on with nuts and not machined or even glued into place so attaching the cage after install was not an option. For 90% of installers this will be a 2 person job. The light itself sems to be a quality piece, the attaching hardware will probably get the job done, but if you’re like me and keep extra hardware around “just in case” you’ll probably be glad you have it.

This is easy to install and has a great slim fit. Perfect for any room. Bedroom lighting for me. Has a nice neutral color. I used led bulbs the lowest wattage.

This Aiwen is better looking in person than the pictures I saw online. The proportions feel right to me, I think if it was smaller or larger I wouldn’t like it as much. The finish is well applied, more flat black in person, which wasn’t a problem for me, I like that. I think it would look even better with an aged finish which wouldn’t be difficult to do and maybe a project I’d like to try in the future.
My only complaint is the gauge of the metal is on the thin side which makes it a bit more delicate, you can easily damage it if you’re not careful installing it. Now in its defense, once it’s installed none of that should make a difference. If you’re looking for something with an industrial vibe this light is one you should consider.

This is a good looking fixture that was a breeze to install. There is a good amount of room between the top of the light and the ceiling so there is room for the wires connectors without any trouble. The finish is great and it is a solid fixture.

Easy to install

Poor construction (mast was bent). Poor design (flush mount requires to blind mate 2 descending screws from base plate to light plate. No room thru cage to get your hand in to tighten nuts) Missing hardware (one of the 2 anchor nuts missing).
