Slope on our ceiling was too much for standard mounting kit, I think it was only good to about 20 degrees. Our ceiling is about 35 degrees and standard mount looked terrible. These were very easy to install and look great. Only complaint is they are pricey but everything is expensive now.

I installed a fanimation ceiling fan on a sloped ceiling a year ago and haven’t been able to use it as the ticking noise was driving me crazy. the fan was supposed to be okay for sloped ceilings, but I guess the angle of ours is pretty steep. my husband installed this adapter in about 20 mins and the fan now runs smoothly and silently. the only down side it that it cost almost as much as the fan itself.

Had a 40 degree ceiling. Need this new bracket in place of the standard mount that came with the fan. Worked out great. I wish it was half of what I paid for. It cost half as much as the fan I bought. So yup this was worth it

This retrofit unit does not come w/ the fan. That’s the only disappointment I have with the fan itself. Otherwise, it was the correct part and delivered in time.
