Description
This stainless steel downrod by Fanimation is available in multiple finishes and lengths to accommodate a ceiling fan installation. When installing a ceiling fan, the recommended downrod length is based on the ceiling height. The ideal distance for a ceiling fan is 7 to 9 feet from the ceiling fan blades to the floor. If downrods are joined together to create the ideal distance, a downrod coupler is required.

Bought this Fanimation downrod to go on my Fanimation Slinger II on my lanai. As it is going outside and I live in Florida, I wanted to make sure that I got the Stainless Steel rod to combat corrosion. Only problem is that the “Brushed Nickel” rod does not match the “Brushed Nickel” fan… at all. This rod looks more like Satin Nickel. Every picture that I found online of this downrod matches the picture here so it is definitely a stock photo. Unfortunately, I will be returning this rod as another rod matched slightly better for less cost. Photo has original indoor downrod in middle of both stainless steel rods.
