Description
This steel downrod by Fanimation is available in multiple finishes and lengths to accommodate a ceiling fan installation. When installing a ceiling fan, the recommended downrod length is based on the ceiling height. The ideal distance for a ceiling fan is 7 to 9 feet from the ceiling fan blades to the floor. If downrods are joined together to create the ideal distance, a downrod coupler is required.

I ordered Fanimation downrods so I could make sure they fit the Fanimation fans that I ordered through .
I hired an electrician to install the 4 Fanimation fans. The 2 brushed nickle Fanimation downrods did not fit, so my fans were installed with just the short downrods supplied with the fans. How can Fanimation downrods not fit Fanimation fans? I am not happy that I have to make do with fans not being hung the correct height for my guestrooms.

No Threaded end, bought from Fanimation for the Fanimation fan, so it would not go into fan motor connector

If you’re trying to buy a downrod for the Fanimation Studio Collection AireFlex 52-in Brushed Satin Brass LED Indoor/Outdoor Downrod or Flush Mount Ceiling Fan with Light Remote, this is NOT the right downrod despite being by the same company and in the same gold color. The end of this downrod is not beveled and it needs to be beveled to fit that particular fan. It would be nice if or Fanimation explained which fan this downrod actually fits….

I bought this downrod because when I was checking out the website recommended pairing this downrod with the Casablanca ceiling fan I purchased. I knew I needed a downrod so I bought it. Unfortunately you cannot use this downrod with the fan I bought because it required a threaded downrod to screw into the fan bracket. If you buy a fan please check the specs to see if it will require a threaded downrod based on your mounting conditions.
I had to buy a new downrod and return this one.
