Description
The Hunter Original downrod is designed for rooms with high or vaulted ceiling to bring your fan down from the ceiling to the appropriate height for optimal cooling performance. With a standard 3/4-inch diameter, our Original downrods come in multiple finishes and lengths from 12 to 72 inches. This downrod only fits Hunter Original fans and is not suitable for any other fan, see documentation section on this page for guidance.

- 3/4-inch diameter for strength and stability, durable steel construction, deburred interior channel to protect wires, and tapered threads for deeper engagement
- Outdoor-rated downrods can be use in indoor, damp, and outdoor environments, including direct exposure to rain and water
- For sloped ceilings angled up to 45 degrees, use an Original® Angled Ceiling Mount (Models 22170, 22174, or 22176), sold separately
- Specific instructions on replacing your downrod can be found in your fan’s original manual; general instructions are available in the documents section on this page
- Ensure stability by using pliers to turn setscrew until firm, do not hand-tighten setscrew
- Warranty: 1-year limited warranty on Hunter downrods
