Easy to install and looks sleek and modern on our covered patio. With only 3 blades it moves a very good amount of air but is perfectly quiet. We didn’t want a light, wanted something unobtrusive and easy to clean, but gave us air, and this fits the bill! Great price too!

Bought this fan to add to my outdoor space. It was installed under a covered patio. It was pretty easy to install, took me about an hour. Very functional, nice breeze, even on 90 degree southeast Texas humid days and it generally keeps the flies away while enjoying the patio. Looks very simplistic and modern. Overall, pleased with this purchase.

Wow, this fan is so cool! I love the design and the color. It has a professional quality to it at first sight.
I wish it had a light, but I do not often use the light on my back porch fan right now, so it is not a dealbreaker. I look forward to enjoying the upgrade on my back porch this summer!

I received this fan from the mail off the internet. I was not expecting the quality of the product to be so good. I put it up in my shop to move some air in the summer. A ceiling fan is a ceiling fan. Here are some other details I found on this ceiling fan. The fan comes shipped in pretty solid packing. The directions are very easy to follow. The parts are solid metal not a bunch of plastic. First of all you need a ceiling fan rated fixture to hang it from. This is needed because of the metal and weight. I put it up temporary first on an ordinary bracket and it worked fine, but it wasn’t sturdy enough. Follow the directions after getting the right bracket and it will take 20 minutes to assemble and 15 minutes to install this fan.

Fan install was super easy, it is nice and quiet and so far so good, i am hoping to find a light kit for it and when I started to look around I realized you could buy the fan for much less right from the manufacturer with free shipping, not sure yet what i plan on doing but kind of a bummer to see a big upcharge when you think you are buying at a great deal, I will always double check now.

It was easy to set up and use and I like the reversible fan blades. It currently goes on my covered back porch so generally it is not directly impacted by the elements of the outdoors. So far it provides a good breeze, but to be honest, the true test will be summer and how well it circulates the air then.

I was a little scared about buying a fan and having my husband install it himself. This was so easy even I could do it I didn’t but I could have. This fan is so quiet you cant even tell when its on. I love the Matte finish on it and really brings a sophistation to our porch. Id recommend this for anyone who needs a new outdoor fan.

This is a really nice looking ceiling fan that we installed in our sons bedroom. It was pretty easy to install and it puts out a good bit of air which is nice because his room is essentially an attic room and needs to be cooled more than a traditional room.

I couldn’t wait to receive my Journal Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan. Once I took it out of the box, it looked even beautifuler in person. I love three blade fan look and how it complimented my out door patio perfectly. The fan works really well and took my me about 45 min to install. Directions directions were very detailed and straight to the point. I also like how durable this fan is and the perfect amount of air it distributes. It’s also already withstand a months worth of crazy Texas weather so it’s definitely a keeper.

No light but I already had four recessed lights in the room so all good.

This fan came with instructions which makes mounting it super easy. It has a wet rating of damp/covered. So it was perfect for me to put on my covered porch. Now on the humid nights I can sit outside with a friend and enjoy a cup of coffee without feeling all that hot humidness. You can either mount this straight downward or at an angle. It does not have a light on it which is a disadvantage but it’s easy to work around, use it where you don’t need the extra light. It is perfect for a large room or patio.

The installation of this fan seems to be similar with other fans. You will need a phillips head screw driver, a voltage tester, some wire clippers, and about 45 minutes of time. Everything else is contained in the box.
I like that there are two options for fan blades – a dark black, or a wood grain look. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. This fan uses the same base for a few combinations (with remote, with light), so you may see extra parts and wires.
I like the more contemporary look of this fan, and the lines are all clean. The only thing I don’t love about this fan is that it uses a lot of screws, and all of them are visible. Other fans do a better job of covering this up.
The fan spins up smoothly, doesn’t wobble and is decently quiet. Worth considering if it fits your decor and don’t mind visible screws.

The finish was chipping off the blades right out of the box. Still can’t get the fan to run quitely.
